Folsom History Museum

This museum features history of the Gold Country Region country, the first railroad west of the Mississippi and the Pony Express. The museum building is a reconstruction of the Wells Fargo & Company Assay Office built in 1860. The museum is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Admission to the museum is free.
