The Folsom Railroad Museum holds more than facts and artifacts of a Gold Rush town dubbed the "Hub of the Mother Lode." Located on the original site of Ashland Station Depot, displays include current information on the new Railroad Block as well as the proposed Light Rail system due to arrive in Folsom in 2001.
Enjoy a gleaming and original bell from steam locomotive made in Sacramento, gating gun brought by rail and used at Folsom Prison Museum in 1870's, maps depicting Theodore Judahs engineering feats in Folsom and showing the four railroads that once rolled through town!
