At the Western Railway Museum you can take an 8.5 round trip ride through an unspoiled, undeveloped part of Solano County's farmland and the Montezuma Hills aboard one of the museum's antique electric railway cars. These interurban trains and streetcars, dating back to the last century, offered rapid transit to another generation of Californians back when their competition was horse drawn buggies and Model A's. In addition to the train rides, many other cars are on display. There are weekday Spring Wildflower trips and special Halloween Pumpkin Patch and Christmas family events.

The museum is located 12 miles east of the Suisun/Rio Vista I-80 off ramp on Hwy 12.

The museum is open weekends throughout the year. The museum is also opened Wednesday through Sunday from July 4th to Labor Day.

Admission prices are as follow: Adults $7.00, Seniors (over 65) $6.00, and Children $4.00.
